I've always enjoyed presenting sets at Gaslight Steampunk Expo (gaslightexpo.org) but I had a blast in 2019 because the equipment was top notch, the audience was large and I was able to do a Q&A with the fantastic Thomas Negovan, director of Aurora.

I hadn't originally programmed Aurora, which was a selection at ALIFFF in 2018 and which I'd screened in the saloon at Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention earlier in the year, but I discovered that Thomas was vending at Gaslight and quickly switched things up.

All films were new to San Diego, but the only one new to the Roadshow was Steam, a short film from the Netherlands that I'd been sent to consider for the Roadshow. I loved it, so happily included it in a Gaslight set.
